Daycare and after-school care – two areas, one ship
Children are at home with us from their first birthday until the end of primary school. Daycare and after-school care have their own rooms and routines – and still belong together.
Ages 1 to 6

Primary school children up to age 10
Our after-school care
After school: lunch, supervised homework, theatre, nature and free play – with a space of their own and holiday care.

Education
Children learn through what they experience with their own senses and in social relationships.
Experiencing nature
On Fridays we head to the Rhine and into the woods – with experienced nature educators.

Bilingual all day long
With us, English is not a school subject but part of everyday life. Children hear and speak both languages from drop-off to pick-up.
Our team
Always several English-speaking educators
Every day there are several educators who speak English with the children. Our native speakers speak only English with all children.
Immersion
English along the way
Children are immersed in the language: while playing, singing, eating and in the morning circle. Language grows from context, not from grammar lessons.

Our bilingual work is supported by the University of Cologne. We are part of the research network of bilingual daycare centres and a member of the FMKS.
