Our day
A day at the Rheinpiraten has a fixed framework – and within it, plenty of room for whatever the children are currently interested in.
A day at daycare
7.45 – 9.00 am
Arrival
Open breakfast and free play – a calm start to the day.
9.00 – 9.30 am
Morning circle
Saying hello, seeing who’s here, celebrating birthdays and planning the day together.
9.30 am – 12.00 pm
Morning
Small-group activities, free play, projects and experiments.
12.00 pm
Lunch circle
We come together and look back on the morning.
12.15 – 1.00 pm
Lunch & rest time
Lunch and brushing teeth. Afterwards the one- to three-year-olds have a nap, the others have a quiet time with stories and music.

Afternoon
Afternoon activities, an afternoon snack around 3.00 pm, then flexible pick-up.
A day for the school children
After school, take a deep breath first – then homework and off to new adventures.
12.00 – 2.00 pm
Arrival
Arriving after school, lunch and supervised homework – 30 to 60 minutes.

Free sailing
Free play and activities. Theatre and nature programme are fixed, everything else is optional.

Care from 7.45 am, with outings and holiday projects.

Three times a day
All children receive breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack at daycare.
Sweets
Only on special occasions
Sweets are for special occasions such as birthdays – and only after agreement with the management.
Outings
Packed food
For outings and nature days, children bring food from home – healthy and with as little packaging as possible.
